Final Conference “Is the common procurement of clean buses possible at European scale?” PDF Print E-mail
From 3rd until 4th December 2009, the COMPRO Final Conference took place in Nantes. The aim of the Conference was to share the results of the work and finally answer to the question “Is the common procurement of clean buses possible at European scale?” More than 70 attendances from all over Europe participated to the conference.


The structure of the conference wanted to present the results according to the ‘COMPRO approach’
  • First opening session presenting the COMPRO approach
  • Second session presenting experiences of common procurement at national-regional level (Brest-Dijon; Emilia Romagan-Veneto; Swedish experiences)
  • Third session on ‘How’ to buy together, with interventions from UGAP, France; CONSIP, Italy; and IntercentER, Emilia Romagna
  • Fourth session on ‘what’ to buy together, presenting the COMPRO zero base bus
  • Fifth session with the representatives from the EC, EIB and UITP
  • Sixt session with the manufacturers (Bredamenarini, Solaris and Heuliez)
  • Final session with local authorities (Nantes, Bremen, Emilia Romagna, Angers, Barcelona)
